Keep your complexion protected from the sun and UV-induced ageing with the Ultrasun Face Anti-Ageing Formula, an SPF 30 daily moisturiser that offers all-day defence for all skin types, including sensitive. The once-a-day sunscreen provides SPF 30 protection from UVB rays and absorbs 90% of UVA rays for highly protected skin all day long. Ultrasun uses their iconic lamellar technology, which locks the sun protection to the skin, which provides all-day defence as well as ultra-fast and non-greasy absorption. The broad-spectrum defence sunscreen fends off infrared rays using GSP, while the inclusion of titanium dioxide protects against high energy visible light - also known as blue light. Helping to protect skin against sun-induced photoageing, the sun cream also contains a blend of antioxidants as well as the enzyme S.O.D, which neutralises harmful free radicals and can help prevent sun allergies as well as prickly heat. Ultrasun has added ectoin to the formula, an anti-ageing enzyme. This boosts the production of new cells while ensuring they're protected against UV damage. It also restores skin's optimal moisture levels for a continuously hydrated complexion. Why We Love It Did you know that the sun is one of the worst causes for premature skin ageing? That's why if you want to achieve youthful and healthy skin it's imperative you wear a daily SPF. And not just any SPF, a hardworking one. The Ultrasun Anti-Aging Formula is the perfect choice as it blends suncare with skincare. Your complexion is cocooned in a weightless, milky fluid that melts into the skin instantly with no greasy or heavy feeling. The comfortable sunscreen offers daily UV protection with all-day hydration while targeting sun-induced ageing. How To Use It Massage into your complexion every morning 15 - 30 minutes before sun exposure as the last step in your skincare routine. Works Well With Stay protected from head-to-toe by pairing this hardworking SPF moisturiser with a body sunscreen from Ultrasun's Body range for more sensitive-suitable and weightless sun protection. Values Vegan, non-comedogenic. Fragrance-free, emulsifier-free, paraben-free, mineral oil-free, silicone-free.

I've been using this as my daily moisturiser since I started trying to fade my sun damage 18 months ago. It's excellent, giving great all day protection without breaking me out in spots. For me this is the holy grail of suncare, as almost all 30+ spfs turn me into Spotty Muldoon.
My skin is in good condition, too, as I can put a hydrating serum underneath in the winter to combat dryness and a matifying one in the summer. My top tip is to use this as your day cream, then just whisk a little face powder and/or bronzer over the top for a really natural day look (I favour the Guerlain Teracotta Jolie Teint powder).

I'm a Mum and I'm busy and scatty and I don't really bother with foundation apart from on special occasions. I have combination/oily skin with spots sometimes (especially in the summer) and I'm 50 this year, so I have some redness and broken capillaries on my chin and cheeks and around my nose, along with some hyperpigmentation around the edges of my face. (Writing it down makes me think I really ought to wear a full face of full cover foundation every day!)
Anyway, I'm too busy and lazy to bother putting a full face on every day; usually I get by with brushing my hair and putting on some mascara. But this was like using moisturiser, so it's easy. It feels very odd at first because it's a mousse that comes out of a tube, so the texture feels a bit dry or pasty, but it has lots of silicone in it so it slips across the skin easily and blends out smoothly.
It has adaptable technology, so as you start to rub it in, there is a darker and more tanned moment as the pigment releases, but it blends in well and gives a nice even light coverage. I have Light/Medium and it's great on my yellow-toned pale skin, even now in midwinter.
The finish is lovely and velvety without being chalkily matte, and I can still see my freckles through the coverage but my redness is taken right down. I love the effect it gives me - I look like myself but better.

Oh dear. I wanted to like this. I love the name! I love the claims! But it didn't live up to any of them. I may try using the formula on a different brush to see if it's any better and then comb through, but frankly, the performance so far has been deeply disappointing.
Yes, it's black. That's the best thing I can say - good pigmentation.
But the gloomy formulation and awkward brush give little or no lash separation or definition and quite a few problems with clumping. I think I may even have seen some flakes.
Not worth the money to me, I'm afraid. If I am going to splash £19 on a mascara, Escentual have plenty of other brands that do what they claim. I'll go for one of those instead.

Gently cleanse your sensitive, normal to dry skin with the Bioderma Sensibio H2O, an ultra-mild, non-rinse micellar water cleanser and make-up remover. Created to suit the needs of those who experience skin irritation and redness, the alcohol-free formula soothes and cools as it cleanses. Sensibio H2O guarantees cutaneous and ocular tolerance for the skin and the eyes with its physiological pH and soap-free base. The cleanser removes impurities using micelles, which micro-emulsify impurities while maintaining the skin's balance. Added decongesting active ingredients prevent irritation, making the skin feel instantly refreshed, perfectly clean and free from all make-up - including water resistant mascara. Use twice daily, in the morning and in the evening. Soak a cotton pad with the Sensibio H2O solution, and cleanse the face and eyes. Repeat with more cotton pads until they come away clean. The solution is no-rinse, but you should gently dab your face with a clean towel after use. The Bioderma Sensibio H2O micelle water is fragrance-free, alcohol-free, and contains no phenoxyethanol.

I read about this product on a few blogs and decided to try it. I'm a lazy trout and want the simplest, fastest way to get all my makeup off at the end of the day, or wipe off the grease and grime if I've been au naturel. So I've tried various different products and micellaires. This one really does knock the old socks off.
It gets off my mascara and my eyeliner (not all micellaires do that, as I favour Benefit's They're Real mascara and Urban Decay's 24/7 eyeliner) and it leaves my skin feeling clean when I use it just as a simple cleanser. No, it doesn't open your pores and scrub them out, but that's not its job - for that you need to get out your big guns and your exfoliators. This does what it's supposed to do and it does it very well. This is the best micellaire I've tried, and I've tried a lot of them.

I recently had an allergic reaction to a shampoo that sent my whole face and eyes into a meltdown. My eyelids had excema-like red, itchy weals on them, my scalp was on fire and I was going crazy trying not to scratch myself raw.
Because I didn't want to use hydrocortisones on my face, I picked up a tube of Cicalfate at Escentual's shop in Cardiff and it was my saviour. It was literally the only thing that could calm the itching and soothe my angry skin. I put it on several times a day, as and when I needed it - even on my eyelids - and my skin healed beautifully. It is now a very definite 'must have' in my bathroom cabinet. I will be trying it on all kinds of skin problems.

 Eye Makeup Remover Lotion 100ml
Eye Makeup Remover Lotion 100ml
Remove your eye makeup the gentle way with the Klorane Eye Makeup Remover, a mild solution that is especially suitable for sensitive skin. The soothing Eye Makeup Remover clarifies the very fragile eye contour without irritation, as its pH is similar to that of tears. Completely safe for contact lens wearers, the solution is also hypoallergenic, ophthalmologist, and dermatologist tested. The softening and anti-inflammatory properties of French cornflower has been traditionally used for centuries in skincare. The cornflower used in this remover has been harvested during full blossom and dried out in special clay ovens. The resulting cornflower water is distilled from these flowers with all of the precious active ingredients and purity still intact, making for a potent and effective natural extract.

I started using Klorane eye makeup remover decades ago, when it was reviewed in the glossy magazines as a wonderful new thing. It is no longer a new thing, but it is still wonderful.
Over the years, I have used many eye makeup removers, with different levels of success. Some make your eyes sting: Klorane doesn't. Some make the eye area greasy or tight: Klorane doesn't. Some aren't able to dissolve all the mascara and eyeliner I wear, leaving me needing to scrub at them: Klorane doesn't.
It's simple and very effective and it doesn't sting your eyes or leave them red from scrubbing. (I should point out that I don't wear waterproof mascara.) It's a classic for a reason; the same reason I'm still using it after all these years. It's very good.

I am in my mid forties and am suffering from hormone-related spots on my jawline. I thought I grew out of this kind of breakout when I left my teens!
I've tried various old tricks to clear up my spots and nothing worked. It just seemed to be getting worse. Then I took advantage of the 1/3 off off in March to try a couple of spot treatments from brands I already use and trust. This was one.
I already used Vichy Normaderm Triactif daily moisturiser and found it good, so I decided to try adding this to my routine. It has done the trick. It's taken a couple of weeks of nightly use, along with a careful cleansing routine and an occasional daytime reapplication of La Roche Posay Effaklar AI blemish treatment on the worst of the zits to bring them under control.
Unlike many spot treatments, this one smells nice and doesn't dry my skin out or leave it stinging or flaky. It's a cream, but it's definitely not greasy. It's easy to apply and rub in and it seems to be working very effectively to reduce the spots that were there and keep new ones from appearing.
I'd recommend it. It's not harsh and it works.

I am in my mid-forties and have fair, freckled skin which is oily in the t-zone and less oily on the cheeks. In hot conditions, I tend to become oilier, and I also suffer from spots on my jawline, linked to hormonal imbalances.
This Vichy moisturiser is the good quality you expect from the brand, and it does indeed leave my skin matt and keep it matt (apart from when the temperature is in the 90s, when nothing can hold back the oil). However, unlike many mattifying moisturisers, this one hydrates my skin, so I don't get tight or itchy skin on my cheeks, and my wrinkles don't get any worse.
This moisturiser neatly balances my ageing skin's need for hydration with my desire not to look like an oil slick. Furthermore, it doesn't make me break out in spots and is 'safe' to carry on using as my daily moisturiser when I am suffering with an attack of the zits. I use the Normaderm Night to help deal with the spots, as that seems to be stronger. This is gentler for daily use and just keeps things under control.
I recommend this. It's a repurchase, which says a lot. It's a great daily moisturiser which does everything I need it to. And I'm awkward and demanding.
