Theres nothing wrong a popular fragrance but go into any nightclub and all you'll smell is 1 Million! Its the younger crowds frag of choice, its not hard to see why. This is a strong fruity scent that lets people know you've arrived before they even see you!
To me it smells like bubblegum. I wear this for work alot as it has great longevity and even in hot environments stays with you.
Its lasts for ages on me, a good 10-12hrs, after which I pick up a hint of vanilla as it finally dies. Don't spray too much or you'll choke yourself and others around you.
I think this is suitable for 16-40yrs, its aimed at the younger generation.
This is a beast in a bottle and has a big following for good reasons only everyone has it!

Even the semi smoked bottle oozes quality from this YSL gem. This is the ultimate evening scent for men. Even when I'm not wearing this, I sniff the bottle cap to remind me just how nice this smells.
For me this is YSL's masterpiece and beats the others in the range.
Its a hard scent to describe but its fresh with woods and spice. Its suitable for 20yrs+, the reason being its more refined and older men should get a bottle as to me this is the older mans 'One Million'.
Its an evening/night scent that the ladies seem to love. If I had to choose between this and the new Libre, this wins easily for me.

The new YSL L'homme Libre is a fresh daytime scent that would work all year round but better as a spring/summer fragrance. I don't think Libre is better than La nuit D'Lhomme as La Nuit is more unique and distinctive.
They share DNA so using Libre in the morning and switching to La Nuit for the evening would easily work.
Libre didn't blow me away but is very nice and a welcome addition to my collection.
To me it smells of fresh sea breeze with soap and citrus mixed in. i get 6-7hrs from it. This I would say is suitable for any age and any daytime situation.

This is how all fragrances should be done!
This scent lasts for ages. I've put this on at 6am gone to work showered and the next day its still faintly noticeable! If its sprayed onto clothes you can smell it after they've been washed. It's longevity is monsterous. I think it becomes part of your DNA its that strong.

This is a great signature scent for all ages and is my Mr Versatile. Anytime, anyplace, any situation Le Male can be used.
Its a great mix of mint and vanilla. The vanilla drydown is the best I've smelled so if you're a vanilla fan you have to try this.

This is hard to find, the EDP isn't greatly available and when it is in stock, it seems to fly off the shelves!
I would put this down for age range 25+. Its not really a younger persons scent. Its a complex one this, that has a feminine tone to it. For some the dominant note will put people off.
It smells like lipstick/makeup, a very powdery smell which after a few hours melts into cocoa.
It doesn't project far but has enough strength to stay on the skin for 12hrs on me.

Great Gourmand

Givenchy PLAY intense is one of the best winter gourmand fragrances out. I wouldn't recommend this for hot weather use as the sweet notes in it may make it cloying.
To imagine what this smells like, think of walking into a coffee shop and standing at the cake section. Its a lovely mix of coffee and cakes with vanilla.
I love this one and get many compliments wearing it. It lasts 8hrs on me as its quite powerful stuff.
Without going into the niche market you won't get a better coffee gourmand for the price!

Open-minded, confident and street wise, the 212 Man is unafraid to be noticed.
This scent is a subverting, floral blend that tells of a dynamic, modern masculinity.
Woody, transparent and sexy, it is a seduction in the city - the perfect scent of contemporary sensuality.

212 man is a very fresh smelling fragrance which lasts a good amount of time, I get about 6-8hrs. It doesn't change much so is pretty linear in it's life.
To me it smells like cut grass in the spring with a hint of spice thrown in.
This is a versatile scent, good for work, dates, any setting really and extends the entire age range. A great teenager fragrance but wouldn't smell out of place on the more mature gentlemen.

CK Be is a unique tonic musk thats clean and fresh, with a simple blend of herbs, citruses and florals.
It dares you to take risks, make mistakes, be unpredictable.

CK BE is my favourite smell in the CK range but what really lets this down is it lasts minutes on my skin not hours!
I can't smell it after an hour, its totally gone which is a shame as the soapy smell is very nice.
To me it smells like running a bath and pouring lots of different creams and salts in.
Its a fresh (not citrus fresh) clean smell thats has a soap edge to it.

I received a sample of this and was instantly wowed by its appeal. At first spray its bitter orange and lemons, it rarely alters through its life but its such a fresh clean smell.
This is a great summer fragrance and smells almost exactly the same as Frederic Malle Biogarde Concentrate only its alot cheaper!

To imagine the smell think of slicing oranges,tangerines,satsumas and lemons and squeezing the juice into a bowel then sniffing the contents!
Don't expect it to last all day but enjoy the freshness you get from it while its there.

I love the smell of apples, green especially and imagined this would be modelled on them. I suppose to some degree it has but to me it smells more synthetic than real and the other ingredients just don't make for an appealing male fragrance.
It borders on feminine to me and could be classed as unisex. I get about 6-7 hours from it but it's not what I expected from an apple based fragrance.
