 Black Eau de Toilette Spray
Black Eau de Toilette Spray
Pure design for Bvlgari's ultimate metropolitan fragrance for men and women; a fresh scent with a signature note of Black Tea. A bold, unique fragrance, Black is intensely urban in spirit, evocative of the vibrant, creative nature of the world's greatest cities. Sophisticated, sensual and darkly intriguing in its scent. Pure and essential in its design. Black is unconventional, a fragrance conceived around the smoky, woody notes of Lapsang Souchong tea, that celebrates the pleasure and freedom of expression. Top Notes: green tea and bergamot. Heart Notes: sandalwood, cedar and jasmine. Base Notes: leather, amber, musk and vanilla.

Burn Rubber!!
Date:8 October 2011
Location: UK
Age: 30-39
Gender: Male
There is a very distinct smell to Bvlgari black that when you first hear what it is might get you thinking 'How can that smell nice?'.
Ok, to the smell, on first spray you get burning rubber. Not like when there is a fire at a tyre garage, its like wheel spinning a car! It's also similar to the old tablet rubbers used in school. There are also other ingredients but for the first couple of hours its rubber!
DO NOT be put off by that, Bvlgari have made a real gem here and it smells great. It doesn't project far, it's close to the skin all the time and I get about 5 hours from it. It's well worth a try, there is nothing else on the fragrance market that smells like this. Bvlgari took a big risk creating this but for me it borders on masterpiece falling short only by longevity.

When I wear this it reminds me of Christmas. It has a boozy pine scent that smells devine. It can be worn all year round, although it suffers with longevity issues and on me it can't last the full working day.
To picture what it smells like think of standing in a pine tree forest with scented cards of spices and rum dangling from the branches!
Despite its lifespan, Burberry London has a good projection and its unique smell makes it a quality addition to anyone's collection.

Experience the deep, dominant aroma of Mugler A*Men Eau de Toilette, an oriental-woody fragrance for men, which is held in a stylish rubber flacon. Mugler's fragrance for men combines aromatic lavender and peppermint alongside earthy patchouli and cosy bourbon vanilla - with the result being a warm and bold masculine scent. A*Men feels ultra-masculine and utterly distinctive as it blends into a rich underlying tone of coffee, tonka bean and musk. Like the scent itself, the bottle embodies style with a matte, charcoal rubber flask that contrasts the striking electric blue star within, which was designed by Theirry Mugler himself. The external rubber lid can be removed easily, so the bottle is also 100% refillable. Why We Love It Created by the expert Jacques Huclier, A*Men was the first of Mugler's fragrances for men. It has proved extremely popular ever since its debut in 1996, continuing to charm people with it's warm, seductive tones. Its popularity is reflected in the fact that there is also a metal edition flacon, alongside a number of refill options. How To Use It Spray onto the neck, chest and wrists. Works Well With If you're a dedicated fan of this product, why not continue to explore the A*Men collection? Notes Woody Dimension: Peppermint, Lavender, Patchouli, Bourbon Vanilla Vigorous Dimension: Coffee, Tonka Bean, Musk

I love the Thierry Mugler range and it's crowning jewel for men is Angel Men. The first time I tried this the heavy tar note right at the start put me off. Its heavily laden with Patchouli aswell but give it a couple of tries before you give up on it.
This really is the fragrance of two halves!
The patchouli rules for a couple of hours but then it slowly changes to a warm chocolate caramel scent which is a great compliment getter. Another top aspect of this fragrance is it lasts for hours I get 14-18 hours strong smelling lifespan from this. Its quality juice that falls into the gourmande category.
The only downside is the rubber spritzer can be a little awkward but it can be modified to give a more powerful spray.
This is a great autumn/winter scent, maybe not so good for summer with the chocolate vibe but you get your money's worth here. A good addition to anyones fragrance collection!

Etat Libre d'Orange Sécrétions Magnifiques Eau de Parfum Spray 50ml
Etat Libre d'Orange Sécrétions Magnifiques Eau de Parfum Spray 50ml
Notes: Lodized accord (fucus, azurone), adrenalin accord, blood accord, milk accord, iris, coconut, sandalwood, opoponax Sécrétions Magnifiques is as real as an olfactory coitus that sends one into raptures, to the pinnacle of sensual pleasure, that extraordinary and unique moment when desire triumphs over reason. Masculine tenseness frees a rush of adrenalin in a cascade of high-pitched aldehydic notes. The sensation of freshness is gripping. Then the fragrance reveals a metallic side, precise and as sharp as unappeased desire. We are on a razor-edge... skin and sweat mingle, and tastes of musk and sandalwood. The slightly salt marine effect stirs, arouses, and sets your mouth watering. Pleasure explodes and all goes wild. Confusion reigns supreme. A subversive, disturbing perfume. It's love or hate at first sight. Sensuous jousting is rarely satisfied with half-measures...In between Don Juan and the Woman who offers herself, arms are laid down...who will be the first to surrender?

I had heard the hype about this fragance and luckily decided to try the Etat sample set first. This is without doubt the wierdest and most unuseable perfume I've ever come across!
With ingredients such as blood, sweat, saliva and milk accord you know you're getting something a little different.
To me this smell likes the taste of blood. Its hard to explain but imagine biting your tongue and it bleeds, the metalic iron taste you get is the smell this fragrance portrays.
It starts off harmless enough but after 5 minutes it changes for the worse. I cannot imagine when this could be used, certainly not for work or dates! If you want something that at parties you can bring out and dare your friends to sniff this is it!
I'm all for trying new smells out but this is too far out for me! Don't write Etat off though, Fat electrician and Tom of Finland are both well designed fragrances.
To wear Secretions you have to be very very brave and have a strong stomach!!

CB I hate perfume Burning Leaves 100ml
CB I hate perfume Burning Leaves 100ml
Burning Leaves is a smoky, woody scent that is both warming and crisp. A fragrance that crackles with the energy of heady autumn days and nights. A nostalgic olfactory interpretation of childhood leaf forts; those huge piles of fallen leaves that are carefully raked up and sat on top of by a group of children. They sit defending the pile against another group, and battle is joined by gathering up armfuls of browning leaves and pelting the opposing party until all concerned are worn out. Sadly there comes a day when raking leaves is no longer anticipated with delight - that's the day when you are TOLD to rake them. Suddenly it is a chore! Still there is something to look forward to after the raking is over - burning the leaves. CB I Hate Perfume founder Christopher Brosius loved to watch them crinkle up in the flames while the smoke swirled up into his nose and made him sneeze. This is a scent of childhood nostalgia, of Christopher Brosius gathering a handful of maple leaves in the autumn and burning them in the fireplace just to remember... The scent: The smoke of burning maple leaves - pure & simple.

This is a very simple fragrance. It doesn't change through its life but I've never smelled anything like it anywhere else.
It smells like Bon fire night, the burning woods and leaves and thats it.. If someone told you to close your eyes and sprayed some on your arm, straightaway you'd picture something burning!
Its powerful for the first 5 mins but then fades fast which is its only downfall. After half hour it turns sweeter (like maple syrup) and sticks close to the skin. I got about 5 hours from it.
Its original and not for everyone but the strange thing about CB fragrances is that seem to bring back memories rather than try to stand out by the scent alone. Everyone will have smelled this somewhere.
Its not a party or summer fragrance but on wet autumn/winter nights this stuff is beautiful.
I only wish they get a sample set as I'd like to try most of his fragrances!
