Haven't brought Clarins eye shaddow before. The product is creamy not powdery and goes on quite thickly but with no tugging if you use the sponge applicator it comes with. For a more subtle appearance I used my eye shaddow brush. It stayed on all day and came off with a sweep with quality remover. Did not pull the thin skin on the eye lid or grease-up during the day so you get a nasty line in the crease.

If you take care applying, either with a sponge or brush you can create a dewy look which is more youthful than the powdery matt some foundations give. Blending it carefully is the key and takes a bit of practise getting the coverage just right, not too thick but not too thin either or you may as well get a tinted moisture. Was very pleased with colour choices available.
