"Moisturise and calm your dehydrated complexion with the Avene Hydrance Light Hydrating Emulsion, a weightless non-sticky moisturiser that leaves your skin feeling quenched, soft and supple." - Keavy, Escentual Beauty Team.   Why You'll Love The Avene Hydrance Light Emulsion: A lightweight fluid moisturiser that soothes and hydrates normal, combination and sensitive skin. 93% of users found their skin was soothed, and 96% said it was more radiant. Comforts your skin using a cooling dose of moisture. Offers 24 hours' worth of hydration.   What You Need To Know: Showcasing a pH 5.5 formula, the 91% natural Avene Light Hydrating Emulsion is made with a patented cohederm complex, which creates micro-reservoirs of water in your skin, so your skin can draw upon this water when needed for 24 hours of hydration. This is paired with the cult-status Avene Thermal Spring Water, which is scientifically proven to calm your complexion as it's naturally rich in minerals, good bacteria and trace elements that work to rebalance and purify.   Why It's Escentual: The Avene Hydrance Light Hydrating Emulsion is a must-have moisturiser for anyone with normal, combination and hypersensitive or sensitive skin types. It offers an endless source of moisture, providing all-day hydration to keep your complexion healthy, hydrated and replenished each day. And, if you're looking for more than just hydration, the Light Hydrating Emulsion also comes in a SPF30 version, too! Both variations are packed into Avene's signature flexible tube that's easy to use as it allows you to dispense the product easily.   The Best Way To Use It: Squeeze the tube and spread a small amount on the fingertips before dabbing on the face and neck, and smoothing onto your skin.   The Sustainable Side: Made in a factory that's certified for the environment, the emulsion is held in a recyclable tube within a recyclable cardboard box.   Values: Dermatologist-tested.

for people with dyhydrate skin, i would not recommend this product, mostly because in my experience it doesn't do what it says it will.
after the inital application your skin feels soothed
BUT 5 mins later, the feelings goes away and your skin feels dry again, IT IS NOT LONG LASTING
furthermore, it does a strange thing where after you apply it, it leaves flakey bits on your skin, espeially when you try to put other products on top, such as sunscreen ( i noticed this happens particularly with mattfying sunscreens like my vichy one)
overall i would not recommend this, if you are looking for something that actually hydrates you skin i would throughly reccommend the RICHE version.

Intensively infuse your skin with the targeted hydration of the Vichy Aqualia Thermal Rehydration Serum, a pre-moisturising concentrate that provides fortifying and soothing care. Reformulated for 2018, the bestselling Vichy Aqualia Thermal Serum is better than ever before. For this renovation Vichy has given us even more, increasing the concentration of Vichy Mineralizing Thermal Water from 10% to 15% and offering 48 hours of hydration instead of 24. The lightweight, silky serum glides over skin with a quenching touch, plumping, smoothing and cooling the complexion both instantly and over time while strengthening its natural protective function. The refreshing texture of the Aqualia Thermal Rehydrating Serum is rich in Vichy Thermal Water, which cools irritation and tightness. The fluid instantly melts into the skin without greasiness or stickiness, and skin is replenished with water. Apply evenly morning and evening to both your face and neck, and follow with your favourite Aqualia Thermal moisturiser. Hypoallergenic. Tested on sensitive skin under dermatological control. THIS IS AMAZING
if you have Combination/oily skin this is definitley something you should consider!
I used to have break outs, makeup would slide off my skin, and feel like my skin was clogged up, and it was all because i was using the wrong products for skin type. instead of using products to replinish my skin of moisture i would use harsh products to strip it of oil
oily skin is usually the result of skin trying to compensate for moisture loss, by creating lipid barrier to lubricate and protect this skin. stripping the skin of oil and not replenishing it with moisture only exacerbates this process, which can lead to more oil production, that can result in clogged pores and pimples.
Moisturer loss is very common, especially when were exposed to the elements, wind, sun ect, but unfortunately not alot of people know about it
This CREME is WONDERFUL and an absolute SEND
It REALLY DOES WORK! Its incrediably soothing, and not sticky or oily.
More importantly it hydrates your skin.
I would recomment this over the Lerger (light) version, which in my experience can form weird flakes, after application, especially when worn under a mattifying sunscreen, whereas this does not.
There is a slight scent to this product, it kinda very similar to cosmetic smell- think a generic soap or perfume smell-, but its not pungent.
As someone with very sensitive skin myself it has not broken me out or irritated my skin, so I would not hesitate to try even if you have senstive skin, since the product is free of parabens and the La-Roche posay are known for their sensitive skin formulations.
i would definitley recommend this to everyone and to all skin types :)
