This is a very luxurious fragrance; it’s a lovely scent and the bottle is beyond beautiful (although not everyone may share that opinion!). A fairy is elegantly sitting on a twig, decorating the cap of the midnight blue perfume bottle. I think the bottle is stunning, and it is one of the few fragrances that I keep unboxed so I can admire its beauty whenever I pass by my perfume collection.
The fragrance has violet and green notes in the opening, accompagnied by mandarin and blackcurrant. It makes a refreshing and (very) sweet start. The heart is feminine, classy and sophisticated. The rose plays a master role, I can’t detect the jasmine, but I still can smell the fresh sweetness of the mandarin. The drydown is more woody, softer, warmer. Iris and vetiver are clearly present.
I think this fragrance has to be tested on the skin. On fabric it develops in a very clean and fresh way, but it is more feminine, sensual and warmer on the skin.
It is rather pricey and I can imagine that it could even be considered to be too expensive, especially when the design of the bottle is not appealing to one’s taste.
Great lastingpower, moderate sillage.

Les Perles de Nuit are the “Holiday 2011” version of the well known Perles Meteorites by Guerlain.
This highlighter uses a mix of pearls in five different shades to “correct, illuminate, and even out the skin”. The product is used by swirling a brush in the canister to grab some color of the different pearls and sweeping the powder over the areas you want to highlight. This brightens and illuminates the skin without whitening the skin. It gives a soft pearly sheen with a dusting of silvery, very fine shimmer.

The pearls are packed in a dark teal / night blue tin with beautiful detailing, and are violet scented. Very classy!
I like this version of the meteorites pearls, they give a beautiful pearly finish to the skin. My skin looks healthy and radiant. I guess this tin will last about a life time! 30 grams of a highlighting powder is a lot, and a little goes a long way!

Parure de Nuit is a limited edition compact powder, designed by Guerlain for the Holidays 2011. The powder is exquisitely beautiful and chique, and comes in a sturdy, classy housing. In a compartment beneath the powder is room for the brush. It is packed in a velvety black pouch with teal satin like lining, and a typical black Guerlain box. The violet scent makes the use of this powder a feast for all senses.
The powder can be used in 2 ways:
You can swirl your brush all over the powder and apply it on the areas you want to highlight. It adds some sheen and a beautiful glow to the skin without being glittery.
You can use this product as a blush (on fair and medium skintones) by sweeping your brush across the three feathers (the pink-red shapes) diagonally and applying the powder on the cheeks.

I really like this powder! The product itself is extraordinary beautiful, it is a joy to use, and the effect on the skin is beautiful. OK, that effect can be achieved by using other and cheaper products, but using this lovely compact gives my day the best start and that is worth every penny it costs!
This compact makes a great gift for any Guerlain lover or make up addict!

This eye makeup remover is not a watery type of lotion, it is more like something between a milk and a creme. This is easy to use, and there is little chance that you spill the product when pouring some out off the bottle.
The product is very gentle on the delicate skin in the eye area, and doesn't irritate skin or eyes at all. The scent is rather present and quite herbal, but it doesn't last long, which is a relief!
The lotion removes makeup well, but it takes some time. I pour some lotion on a cottonpad and press it gently on my closed eyes, and let it soak in for like 15-30 seconds before I wipe the cottonpad down and sidewards. I have to repeat this a second -and sometimes even a third- time when I'm wearing a heavy eye makeup or waterproof products.
This might not be the quickest and most effective way to remove eye makeup, but it could be the softest and most gentle way!
I have sensitive eyes and sensitive skin and didn't experience any irritation, redness or itchiness so far. The lotion doesn't blur my vision either.

What a beautiful, lovely fragrance! I seem to love it more and more each time I wear it.
The topnotes are fresh, citrusy, slightly green and a little bit sharp. Flowery and fruity undertones are detectable. The start appears to be as clean and fresh as a breath of fresh air on a dewy summer morning.
The heart of the fragrance is a beautiful combination of orangeblossom and lilac, dipped in soft, sweet, luscious honey. And that seems a combination made in heaven! The fragrance is warm, soft, cozy and comforting, rich and delicious, magical and enchanting! I think it is quite noticeable that I adore it! ;-)

I think this frangrance can be worn on different occasions, by woman of all ages. It is suitable for any season, but in my opinion it is perfect for autumn.
This Eau de Toilette is very longlasting on my skin, and has great sillage. The bottle and box are beautiful, classy and luxurious.

I'm not sure whether I like this Edp or not. I love the drydown, but the rest isn't as pleasing to my nose.
The opening is rather harsh; sharp and bitter. The flowers are highly present in the heart of the fragrance, but I find that Jasmine and Elderflower (which I both like less) get far more attention than Ylang-Ylang and Magnolia, and the evolution is very linear for hours and hours. The scent is rather overpowering and strong on my skin.
The drydown is very nice; relaxing, warming, comforting. Honey, vanilla, musk and amber make a nice, soothing blend and give the fragrance an intimate character.
I prefer to wear this scent in the colder seasons.

I think Tommy Girl is just lovely! A clean, fresh, slightly green floral with uplifting citruses. A fresh blend like tea with lemon in the opening, followed by a ‘flowers and mint’ bouquet. The only flowery note that I can clearly identify is the honeysuckle. The dry down stays fresh, but is more softened and toned down. Jasmine is detectable but is present in a very civilised way.
I think this fragrance is suitable for every age and every occasion, and in my opinion it can even be worn at moments were other (heavier, more present) scents would not be appropriate.
The lasting power is average, sillage is moderate.

Eden is one of a kind, a very special, unusual and unique fragrance. I’m still not sure whether I like it or not; for me it’s too overpowering and strong to like, but at the same time it’s too intriguing and interesting not to like.
The opening is fresh with citruses and peach. The fruity notes remain in the heart with the presence of pineapple and melon, although well hidden under (very) strong floral notes of mimosa, tuberose, jasmine, waterlily and lotus. It feels very tropical.
The heartnotes stay on my skin for hours, almost without changing. I sometimes would love to skip the first 2-3 hours of wearing this scent because it can be so overpowering, but the basenotes and drydown make it worth waiting for! Lots of patchouli, sandalwood and tonkabean make the drydown warm, soft, slightly woody and slightly sweet. It feels feminine, elegant and present but no longer overpowering.

Lyric Woman is –in my opinion- a work of art. Very beautiful, well balanced, feminine, classy, and extremely elegant.
The opening is slightly spicy and reminds me very much of “Glühwein”, a nice combination of the spices and the bergamot.
The radiant heart of the fragrance is the rose; a beautiful, mature and musky rose. It is joined by angelica and other flowers like jasmine and ylang-ylang.
The woody and musky notes of vetiver, sandalwood, patchouli and tonkabean get more present as time goes by. The drydown is very beautiful; soft, creamy, slightly sweet. Incense and tonkabean play a marvellous duet on my skin.

Mysterious and elusive, Yves Saint Laurent Belle d'Opium Eau de Parfum is an overdose of
opulence. A rare combination of luxurious ingredients that combine
to create a truly bewitching scent.
A new interpretation of the orient, Belle D'Opium begins with a

Belle is a beauty!

Although Belle d'Opium is an oriental floral, to my nose it is definitely more spicy and peppery than floral. I can detect lily and gardenia, but only slightly and well hidden by lots of pepper.
